In order to strengthen the three-year action plan and practical results of tackling the root cause of safety production, continuously promote port safety construction, assist in the safe development of the port industry, and effectively improve the safety performance ability of safety management personnel and the ability to prevent enterprise accidents, Guangzhou Antwerp Port Education Consulting Co., Ltd. plans to hold the 2024 Port Safety Development and Management Practice Training Course in Ningbo City in August. The specific matters are notified as follows:
1、 Training target
Personnel engaged in safety, production, and operation in port and shipping enterprises and logistics related enterprises, as well as relevant safety engineering and technical personnel; Transport management and safety management personnel at all levels of transportation and port and waterway management departments; Personnel engaged in port safety production related to scientific research institutions and the water transportation industry.
2、 Course content
1. Interpretation of laws and regulations. The Ministry of Transport's "Three Year Action Plan for Addressing the Root Causes of Safety Production in Transportation Systems (2024-2026)" and "Three Year Action Plan for Addressing the Root Causes of Safety Production in Port Operations (2024-2026)", as well as the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission's "Central Enterprise Safety Production Supervision and Management Measures" (No. 44 of 2024).
2. Explanation of key points for port safety production. The implementation and strengthening of the main responsibility for enterprise safety, the construction of a dual prevention mechanism, the operational measures and key difficulties for identifying and controlling hazards and hidden dangers in port production, and the on-site safety management practices of port enterprises.
3. Emergency response and management of port safety accidents. Including laws and regulations, risk assessment, emergency resources, key implementation points of various contingency plans in ports, as well as planning and practical implementation of emergency drills.
4. Sharing of experience in promoting technological prosperity. Introduction to the integrated system for safety, production, and management of dangerous goods in digitalized ports, as well as experiences, practices, and critical paths in the implementation process.
5. Enhance safety leadership and execution ability. How to build a safety culture, establish institutional mechanisms, and create incentive systems to ensure that frontline port employees pay 100% attention to safety and do a good job in safety.

Yang Yong, a member of the Expert Database of Beijing Emergency Management Bureau, Senior Engineer, Registered Safety Engineer, Registered Safety Assessor, Registered Safety Production Training Lecturer, Registered Safety Engineer Continuing Education Teacher, Safety Standardization Level One Reviewer, OHSMS Senior Auditor, and Confidentialist. Has won the first prize of Safety Production Achievement from the State Administration of Work Safety and the third prize of Science and Technology Award (provincial and ministerial level) from the China Occupational Safety and Health Association. 4、 Course time and location
The course lasts for 3 days, from August 28th to 30th, 2024, with registration on August 27th and return on August 31st.
